This documentary is a journey into black history that connects the past of the Civil Rights movement to the present of #BlackLivesMatter. It questions black representation in Hollywood and beyond. And, ultimately, by confronting the deeper connections between the lives and the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom X, and Medgar Evers, Baldwin and Peck have produced a work that challenges the very definition of what America stands for.

The exhibition will contain recent work by Karen VanDam Michmerhuizen. Michmerhuizen's love of gardening, nature, and art meld together to produce works that reflect the ordinary and everyday aspects of our lives such as still life, floral, and landscape which we tend to overlook. Putting paint to canvas gives us all a chance to enjoy the moment through the artist's eyes.
