Defensemen Camp
Develop skating skills, puckhandling, passing, shooting, defending the 1 on 1 and game specific skills for defensemen. Groups for Atom & Pee Wee and Bantam and Midget. Locations in Victoria, Nanaimo, Burnaby Winter Club and Planet Ice, North Delta.
Forwards Camp
The main job for forwards is to score goals! This is done by maintaining possession of the puck through puckhandling, passing and creating opportunities to shoot the puck! A forward's second job is to forecheck and backcheck to gain possession of the puck.
One of the first hockey camps dedicated to hockey forwards you will learn many of the advanced offensive and defensive skills to be an effective 2 way player. Defensemen who want to better their offensive skills are free to join the camp. The classroom component compliments the on ice curriculum with NHL game clip examples, instructional videos and some mental training tips to bring you to the top of your game!
Battle and Compete Camp
Learn what it takes to compete at a high level. Quickness drills, one on one drills and small area games designed to work on your determination and relentless desire to be a tough competitor. Locations in Burnaby Winter Club and Planet Ice, North Delta.
Bantam and Midget Prep Camp
Set up in a training camp format to prepare you for tryouts and training camps. High tempo drills and scrimmages run by
Enio Sacilotto of the Victoria Royals (WHL), Aldo Bruno of the Grandview Steelers and many high level guest coaches. Mental training techniques are covered in the seminars as well as information about the next level. One location at Planet Ice, Coquitlam.
Dynamic Skating & Puck Skills Camp
Hockey is really two sports in one, skating and stick skills. Most coaches can agree that the key to a great hockey player is to be a great skater. The Dynamic Skating Camp we will build on your areas of strength and help you correct your weaknesses.
You will develop powerful edges, learn to utilize your body so you can reach top speed and we will improve your agility on skates. At our stick skills component, you will have a puck on your stick for almost the entire time increasing your confidence to keep your head up. You will learn innovative moves and dekes using our on ice props, so you can visualize beating your opponent 1 on 1. Passing skills are also worked on. One location, Planet Ice, Coquitlam.
