The Bethlehem Chamber has partnered with the Colonie and Guilderland Chambers of Commerce to bring you this Tri-Chamber Speed Networking Event. Connect with colleagues from throughout the Capital Region and make 20 new contacts before you get into the office. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early and bring plenty of business cards. Peter Coombs from FRONTLINE Training & Consulting will moderate. FRONTLINE Training helps salespeople in all types of organizations through workshops, keynotes, and coaching.

Bethlehem - get out your cameras!
Bethlehem is working on identifying scenic views and natural open spaces that are important to the character of our town. Your photos will help guide Bethlehem's open space inventory and planning efforts. The "
Scenic Bethlehem Photo Survey invites residents to get outside, take photos of their favorite open/natural spaces in Bethlehem, and email them to
Karen Shaw so that the photos can be included in the "scenic views" map layer.

Art on the Rail Trail (ART)
is a new initiative designed to bring public art installations to the
Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail.
This new committee of the
Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy
is a collaboration between town residents, local non-profits, with town, county and Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce representation. While the ultimate goal is to see various mediums of art up and down the trail, the pilot project consists of one mural to be painted this year. The mural will be painted on the side wall of the town-owned building located at the intersection of the rail trail and Adams St.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
Calling all artists interested in developing an original public artwork for the north-facing wall of a Town of Bethlehem-owned building (90 Adams Street, Delmar, NY) facing the Rail Trail at Adams Street and Hudson Avenue. We welcome all artists to apply, but specifically encourage those who work in public art, murals, and mosaic.

Entrepreneurial Assistance Training Program
Bethlehem is accepting applications for grants from eligible Microenterprises - emerging and existing businesses that want to locate in or expand in town. Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $35,000 and can be used to purchase inventory, machinery, equipment, furniture, fixtures and to meet working capital needs. See below block for more details.
As part of the Microenterprise Grant Program, the Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region will be offering its
Entrepreneurial Assistance Training Program at
Town Hall.
Any business might be able to enroll, depending upon space availability - priority given to grant recipients. C
lasses begin on Thursday, June 29 from 6pm - 9pm and will run for 8 consecutive weeks. Tuition is $160. Click

For the past few years, many town residents have been
volunteering at Colonial Acres Golf Course
to create a nature-based education and recreation program, which is now called
Colonial Acres Golf & Nature Park.
The property is owned by the Town of Bethlehem as part of the Parks and Recreation Department.
The goals include managing the golf course as an environmental demonstration course, but also as the premier Golf Learning facility in the Capital Region.
ISC-Audubon has "adopted" the property as a primary project in the Capital Region. Last year the Nature Trail was completed, and enough money was raised to build and install 2 bridges that cross the main stream that runs through the woodlands around the course. AROUND THE REGION.....
The Central New York Regional MWBE Opportunities Expo will take place on Thursday, June 22, from 8am-3pm.
The MWBE Opportunities Expo brings together the various New York State Agencies and Authorities that have a significant presence in each region to provide MWBE firms local networking opportunities.
The Expo will also include panel discussions on the Regional Economic Development Council, key projects in the specific region, and the MWBE goal setting process for these projects. In coordination with the Regional Offices, MWBEs will receive information on how to find opportunities for their participation on these key projects. See the

The Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau Fund was established to support Albany County's hospitality industry by funding programs that will help build and sustain Albany County tourism destinations, attractions and events and bring more visitors to the County.
The ACCVB Fund is now accepting applications.
