"Struggle, for me, is the most inspirational thing in the world at the end of the day - as long as you treat it that way." --Skylar Grey
I've been thinking a lot about "struggle" lately. Too many areas of my life seem to be a "struggle" right now. What I finally realized is what I know, deep down, about everything: it's all in the way I perceive it.
So I decided to stop "struggling." I decided to work at remembering, in every moment, that what is happening to me is inspirational, that what I am walking through is filled with grace and ease, and that at the end of it I will have grown my own consciousness, my own soul.
Do you struggle? Do you just keep struggling? It seems to me that it is the struggle itself that keeps the struggle alive. Once we decide to
stop struggling,
and start allowing life itself to inspire us, we don't have the struggle any longer
Yes, it really is that simple. And it's darned hard to remember. We're taught that struggling is noble, necessary, just part of life. Moving forward, learning, growing -- that is the inevitability of life. Not struggling. Not fighting against. Just moving forward, learning to be more of who we came here to be, growing in consciousness and love and compassion.
Join me in giving up the struggle. I don't want us to waste our energy any longer!
With enormous love,
Rev. CC
