I saw this app on the news and tried it out and it is great, it is TAKL. With TAKL, they do small to medium size chores around the house, and the prices are very reasonable.
The folks that do these chores have been background checked every possible way. They also have other jobs and are wanting to pick up extra work.
With this app, you sign on, pick the chore you want and the price is listed so there are no bids to get. There is also a custom area for jobs not listed. When you post your chore, people who want to do it, sign up. Each person has a short bio so you know about them and you pick the person you want to do the chore. You also say when you want it done, even if it is in the next hour or two. After the chore is complete, you are asked if you are satisfied and when you click yes, your credit card is billed then.
When I used this app, I had a lot of things to be hauled away and the quotes I had from other companies were between $275-450. TAKL took care of it for $95, and the man that came out worked in the oil field 7 days on and 7 days off and he was just picking up extra work while he was off. He was very nice and professional.
