XL Hybrids announces ship-thru codes for Chevrolet and GMC commercial vehicles
XL Hybrids Inc. announced new ship-thru codes are available for its XLH hybrid-electric system on the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana full-size vans and cutaways. As part of the strategic agreement, fleet managers can seamlessly order and take delivery of XLH-upfitted Chevrolet and GMC vans starting with 6.0-liter models, and 4.3-liter models will be added in the third quarter. Meetings of interest scheduled during The Work Truck Show ® 2018
Three representatives from South Shore Clean Cities will discuss the Michigan to Montana (M2M) I-94 Clean Fuel Corridor project on Thursday, March 8 from 1-2 p.m.  Register to attend

Later that afternoon (2:30-3:30 p.m.), a representative from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management will share details on the $41 million Indiana is poised to receive from Volkswagen settlement funds. California city's climate plan focuses on vehicle electrification
The City of San Jose, California, released Climate Smart San Jose, which outlines a path to achieving the Paris Agreement's greenhouse gas emission reduction targets. Among the plan's goals are to expand fleet electrification as quickly as possible and further research the implications of autonomous vehicles on the fleet. Full story
Electric Ford Transit approved for New York incentive program
The battery-electric Ford Transit 350HD from Lightning Systems now qualifies for a state incentive program in New York. The vehicle is now eligible under the New York Truck-Voucher Incentive Program, a partnership between the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, state Department of Transportation, New York City Department of Transportation, and CALSTART.
