The 2017 Summer Reading Challenge kicks off on Saturday, June 17, with Kickoff Fairs taking place at each branch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the family to pick up your Summer Reading logs and enjoy carnival games, face painting, balloon art and more!

Join us all summer long as we celebrate this year's theme, Build a Better World. We're challenging readers of all ages to work together to help Bucks County read 2 million minutes this summer!

Stop by your local branch each week throughout the summer to get your reading log stamped and stay for one of our fun (and educational) programs. Visit our website and check out our events calendar to learn how you can join the fun!
Last year, we proudly celebrated our 60th anniversary. In addition, we opened Penn's Little Village, launched the Help Desk program and broke Summer Reading records. Read our 2016 Annual Report to learn more about Bucks County Free Library and the people who make us possible.
You already know that your Bucks County Free Library card gives you access to national and local periodicals at each branch, but did you know that your card also gives you online access? From the comfort of your own home, you can read The New York Times, and you can now access two new resources: Morningstar and NewsBank.

Morningstar is an online investment research center, providing comprehensive financial news, including market analysis and tools to help you manage your portfolio.

NewsBank gives you online access to national news as well as local newspapers The Philadelphia Inquirer , The Intelligencer and  The Bucks County Courier Times

Visit your favorite branch or go online -- your BCFL library card keeps you plugged in!
