"For He will give His angels change concerning you, To guard you in all your ways."
(Psalms 91:11)
Message from the Principal
Dear Families and Friends,

What a beautiful Mass and Awards Ceremony we had this last Friday!  It was very bittersweet, however, as we said farewell to Fr. Michael Hoyt, who has been reassigned to St. Thomas Aquinas, beginning in July. We will forever be grateful for all of the time he spent with our students and staff and for everything he has done for the greater community. We will certainly continue to keep him in our prayers.

We want to wish all of our families a safe and relaxing vacation! Please know that if you have any questions throughout the summer, do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email. We will begin operating on our summer office hours of 9:00 a.m. until noon starting today. Those hours will be in effect for the months of June and July.

Later this week we will be printing and mailing report cards. There will be additional information included with your student’s report card, such as summer reading, information about the school uniform, and the school supply list for next year. Remember that you can order your school supplies online through SchoolKidz, a division of Staples. For more information on ordering online, please see the information below in this newsletter.

Remember that it is not too late to volunteer to help us with our classroom renovations.  There are several student desks and chairs that need to be put together, as well as several areas that we hope to have painted and cleaned. Please contact me if you would like to get started on your service hours for next year.

God Bless,

Mrs. Ramos

Message from the President

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone.  I want to take a moment to thank you for entrusting your students to us.  Our teachers have worked very hard to deliver a challenging curriculum.

This summer will be a busy one at SMSG.  The Monday after we are finished, we will start the renovations on some of our classrooms.  I am so grateful to the wonderful St. Michael’s alumni who have so generously given to the classroom campaign in order to make this happen. I hope many of you had the chance to sign up to help us, and to get a jump start on your volunteer hours.

During the 4th of July week, the main entrance to the school will be closed as the drive way undergoes some very much needed repairs.  At the same time, we will be replacing a very tired playground with a new one.

In addition to all of these construction items, it is our hope to enlarge our kitchen so that we can do the cooking at the school instead of transporting it from the high school every day.  We will be looking for parent volunteers to help us staff the kitchen along with cafeteria staff.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we prepare for the return of the students in the fall.

Thank you again for all of your support.

God Bless,

Mrs. Hoy

Estimados padres,

Sra. Hoy
