The Chamber of Manitowoc County is excited to bring back Restaurant Week|END to Manitowoc County THIS WEEKEND! This is an opportunity for anyone to check out some of the finest cuisine and dishes Manitowoc County has to offer. Additionally, area restaurants get to show off what makes them so great! Lakeshore Humane Society 's 3rd Annual Golf Outing, "Putting for Pets", benefiting Manitowoc County homeless animals, takes place Monday, June 26, at 11:00am at The Golf Course at Branch River. Register today for a four-person scramble at www.lakeshorehumane.org/golf. Cost: $65 per golfer or $260 per team which includes: 18 holes of golf with cart, free-range balls before tee time; golfer goodie bag; 50/50 raffle, silent auction and door prizes! Contests include: HI/LO card game, Putting Contest, Challenge the Pro. Non-golfers welcome to attend the buffet at 4:30pm for $15.
 
Felician Village: The Dementia Center of Excellence at Felician Village was established to offer support, education and advocacy to the growing number of people affected by Alzheimer's and dementia. It is not a specific building, but rather weaves our commitment to exceed industry standards by delivering quality, compassionate care to those we serve with dementia throughout our campus and Manitowoc County. Holiday House of Manitowoc County, Inc. welcomes Ryan Graff, Nan Oswald and Laura Wiegert to their Board of Directors. Ryan Graff is an Attorney with Nash, Spindler, Grimstad and McCracken, LLP, Nan Oswald is a Registered Nurse with the Manitowoc Public School District and Laura Wiegert is the Vice-President of Marketing for Investors Community Bank. Lester Public Library: Our foreign film, Welcome to the Sticks, shows at 6:00pm tonight. Tomorrow (Wednesday), Wonder Works for ages three to seven is at 10:15am, an open LEGO build for all ages is 1:30-3:30pm, and Teen Open PS4 Night is 6:00-8:00pm. Next Monday, June 26, from 6:00-8:00pm, explore chain reactions and more at our STEAM lab. Don't forget: We offer a summer reading program for adults, too. Read books, win prizes!
 
Wisconsin Maritime Museum 's Sub Pub welcomes you, the general public, up to the Roof Deck to enjoy the downtown view along the river and lake. Sub Pub will be open most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through Labor Day for a cash bar. The bar includes local craft beer, wine, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages. Lakeshore CAP, Incorporated needs volunteers to help with our homeless count. The purpose of the count is to gather information and provide accurate numbers of those who are homeless to better direct funding to communities. Volunteers are needed for a two-hour shift from 11:00pm Wednesday, July 26, to 6:00am on Thursday, July 27. All volunteers will go as a pair or in a group. Hamann Construction Co . broke ground on an 11,925-square-foot addition for Nemak Wisconsin, an automotive parts manufacturer in Sheboygan. The addition will house a new CNC milling line to be used in conjunction with existing building operations at its Taylor Drive facility. The expansion project includes several utility/equipment relocations and a building demolition. Friends of Red Arrow Park, Inc.: Good things are happening at Red Arrow Park! Sixteen trees were recently planted along the entrance into the park. Electricity and walkways are being installed at the flagpoles that were recently set in place, and memorial bricks will soon be set into the flagpole area.
