Benchmarking Survey Closed
Results to Be Sent by July End

The Regional Relations team is now analyzing the data provided by the 2017 Regional Benchmarking Survey and will reveal the results to the regional community by July 31. This year's key findings will be incorporated into October's Leadership Development  Workshop (LDW).

The ongoing collection of data, identification of trends (both positive and negative), identification of best practices and the valuable metrics established provide insight into our industry's association operations as well as helps Regional Relations  identify new areas of support to be delivered through the Regional Affiliate Program, LDW content and the annual Engagement Program.
PPAI Knowledge Communities
Feedback Needed

Promo Connect This summer PPAI is introducing a new industry initiative, Promo Connect, a knowledge community platform for the promotional products industry that offers a place for industry-specific peer networking and collaboration; sharing of best practices, ideas, information and concepts; and seeking and offering expert opinion and advice. Please complete a short, two-question survey to provide seed questions and topics for Promo Connect's industry communities. Take the survey HERE.
Resources  for Regionals

PPAI Shared Volunteer Program
This program  provides hands-on assistance to regional associations to make calls/send e-mails about an upcoming tradeshow,  check in attendees at  an event,  conduct a survey, or write copy for newsletters, website, or membership materials . Requesting help is easy; just c omplete and return this  form identifying your project needs at least two months prior to the project start date.

Regional Engagement Program Speakers
Schedule a PPAI staff person, or subject matter expert to present education at your tradeshow, monthly lunch 'n learn, or annual meeting, or to train your regional Board. Regional associations also have a great opportunity this year to fill an education need as the first PPAI Product Safety Ambassadors must take an additional two hours of product safety education to keep their Product Safety Ambassador status. The Regional Engagement Program speakers can be used to provide this required training!
Sessions will not be scheduled for December.

Welcome New Executive Director
NWPMA Hires Elizabeth Conrad

Elizabeth Conrad Please join Regional Relations in welcoming Elizabeth Conrad, NWPMA's new Executive Director. For the past 15 years, Elizabeth has been working for senior housing communities as an Executive Director, or as an executive staff member as well as volunteering for a center that aids families/individuals dealing with memory loss. Before her nonprofit career, Elizabeth was in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 computer companies.
Regional Spotlight
OPPA Sales Safari

OPPA Sales Safari "This event was four years in the making from vision to reality. We moved to this
one-on-one meeting-style room show  event to help our supplier and distributor members get together in a meaningful way and because we realized that the tradeshow industry has changed for OPPA.  No longer was the traditional booth show the sole appeal for our suppliers; they wanted more affordable tradeshow offerings." New TSPPA Website

TSPPA TSPPA just launched a new website in May. Executive Director Reagan Zugelter explained why a new site was needed: "Although our old site was only two years old, it just didn't have any ability to do the things we wanted. We did not have a Contact Us page on our former site, nor an online way to sign up as a member, or volunteer, or register for events." Learn how they did it by reading MORE.
