Rose's Powerful Story
~Prayer Request~

A POWERFUL story of a young woman that will open your eyes. We will call her Rose.
At 12 years old, Rose became orphaned. No parents, just two younger siblings.
Rose wanted to provide for her siblings and didn't know how. Someone suggested that she use her body for easy money, so she did [This is not uncommon in Haiti]. In 7th grade, Rose became a prostitute. Can you imagine the pain? The heartbreak? The devastation? The loneliness? The abandonment?

In 9th grade at her public high school's Bible class taught by our Brisso, Rose learned about Jesus and the Bible. She accepted Christ in her heart  with Brisso in that classroom! Brisso invited her to Lavi Reyel (CIDM's Real Life Saturday Bible Study) and she's been attending ever since, experiencing just how deep God's love goes for her. Soon, our staff learned her story-that she was feeling stuck and hopeless in having to sell her body to provide for her family and pay for her own school.

She's only 15, with no way to support herself, her siblings, or pay for school other than to prostitute.

CIDM has begun to help support Rose as she realizes her dream of going to school and healing in Christ. We know Rose will experience more of God's grace, love, provision, compassion, healing and unfailing faithfulness to her. Join us in praying for Rose as she makes this transition into a new life in Christ and freedom in Him!
