2017 Spring Allied Golf Team
Meet & Greet with Coach Stephanie Stoutenborough

Did you know that The First Tee is a family affair for the Van Deusen family? Our executive director, Don Van Deusen, is also the proud father of our two Allied Golf coaches, Stephanie Stoutenborough and Brian Van Deusen. This month, we're catching up with Stephanie about coaching this very special team.

Q: How and when did you first get involved with The First Tee?
A: I first started with The First Tee about 10 years ago as a coach for the PLAYer level.

Harper Lurie CNU
Congratulations to Harper Lurie

Longtime participant Harper Lurie officially signed her commitment to play golf on the inaugural women's golf team at Christopher Newport University this fall -- we are so proud of the skilled golfer and leader she has become, and wish her all the best in this exciting new chapter.

Pictured at right is Harper with Coach Jim Cavanaugh and Executive Director Don Van Deusen at her signing ceremony.
