Harvest Compassion Center Opens New Location
Since 2011, the Harvest Compassion Center Phoenix has been serving guests throughout the Valley. As of February 2018 we are thrilled to announce our second location opening in Maryvale. The HCC strives to be more than just a local food bank, it’s your one-stop shop! It is set up like a mini-mart and clothing boutique, where guests are welcomed to shop and choose their desired food items, hygiene products, baby items, various home products and clothing FREE of charge. We are open to the general public and provide service to anyone living in Arizona, as there are no pre-qualifications or appointments ever needed. Our desire is to welcome and love every guest who walks through our doors offering a first class service experience!

Looking to donate your used clothing, host a food or hygiene drive, and/or volunteer locally please contact us at: www.harvestcompassioncenter.org. The HCC's are 100% funded by the generous donations of the community. Most of all, if you know an individual or family in need, please make sure you help us spread the word that Harvest Compassion Center is now in the West Valley!
Help the Glendale Historical Society Facilitate Weddings
Have you ever considered helping facilitate one of our Rose Garden weddings? We really need the help. We have 12 weddings in March and currently only three and a half (splitting the 4 hour wedding) have been signed up for.

Here are the duties to facilitate a wedding:
*Open the house for the wedding party (if you do not have a key, someone will come unlock for you)
*Be there to make sure the wedding party does not bring anything into the house food and drink wise other than water
*Help in any way you can, a safety pin, band aid, hair pin, etc. if needed
*Make sure other photographers (not with the wedding) move to another area of the park during the wedding
*Make sure the party is out of house at the end of their time
*Double check the rooms to make sure nothing was left.
*Empty the waste paper baskets in the rooms

We would have you do a wedding with one of our Bells or Beaus before doing one by yourself. It's a lot of fun watching the dresses, costumes (there are some of those) and the different types of ceremony's.

Think about it and if this is something you would like to do, we would greatly appreciate it. Just give us a call or an email.

To volunteer, contact Marty Cole at gahs73@gmail.com, or call (623) 435-0072.
