The NFF announced the names on the 2018 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, including 75 players and six coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 98 players and 31 coaches from the divisional ranks. Click here for a pdf of the candidate names and capsule bios. Voting for the 2018 Class ends June 20.

The ballot was emailed to the more than 12,000 NFF members and current Hall of Famers whose votes will be tabulated and submitted to the NFF's Honors Courts, which will deliberate and select the class. The FBS Honors Court, chaired by NFF Board Member and College Football Hall of Famer Archie Griffin from Ohio State, and the Divisional Honors Court, chaired by former Marshall head coach, longtime athletics director and NFF Board Member Jack Lengyel, include an elite and geographically diverse pool of athletic administrators, Hall of Famers and members of the media.

The NFF formally presented Clemson University head coach Dabo Swinney with the MacArthur Bowl, the organization's national championship trophy for the Football Bowl Subdivision, during a ceremony at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta June 1.

SEC Network broadcaster and GridironNow.com columnist Tony Barnhart emceed the event, which included remarks from Coach Swinney, NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell and College Football Hall of Fame CEO Dennis Adamovich. Coach Swinney accepted the award on behalf of his Clemson football team in front of an audience full of excited Tiger fans.

VIPS in attendance included Clemson Athletics Director Dan Radakovich, Clemson Associate Athletic Director of Football Administration Woody McCorvey, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl President & CEO Gary Stokan and Coach Swinney's three sons, Will, Drew and Clay.

The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) announced that NFF Board Member and NACDA Executive Director  Bob Vecchione  will be inducted into the Association's Hall of Fame at the 2017 NACMA Convention June 12-15 at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Fla.

NFF Board Member and Apple CEO Tim Cook will deliver the address at MIT's 2017 Commencement exercises on June 9.

College Football Hall of Famer  Joe Greene (North Texas) and the Greene Family Foundation will host Nibble and Mingle, a fundraising event benefiting the Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Scholarship fund, at the Highland Hotel in Dallas on June 9.

2003 NFF Distinguished American Award recipient and former Ole Miss Chancellor Dr. Robert Khayat was  named the recipient of CoSIDA's 2017 Dick Enberg Award. He will receive the award June 11 during the annual CoSIDA Convention in Orlando, Fla.

2010 NFF Annual Awards Dinner emcee and former Central (Iowa) football player Harry Smith will be one of the correspondents on the new NBC News show,  Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly.

The NFF Joe Tiller/Northwest Indiana Chapter will hold its scholar-athlete banquet June 11 at  Purdue Memorial Union at West Lafayette, Ind.

The NFF Oklahoma Chapter will host the 33rd Annual All Sports and Scholar-Athlete Awards Luncheon June 13 at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame and Jim Thorpe Museum in Oklahoma City. 

The NFF Touchdown Club of Houston Chapter will host two upcoming luncheons featuring college head coaches. On June 21, Tulane head coach Willie Fritz will speak at the Bayou City Event Center. Then on July 24, Baylor head coach Matt Rhule will speak at the JW Marriott Houston.

The NFF Tom Lombardo/St. Louis Chapter will hold its M&M Golf Tournament July 12 at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, Mo.

Since 1959, the National Football Foundation has annually recognized the best and brightest college players, presenting them with prestigious NFF National Scholar-Athlete Awards, presented by Fidelity Investments. The $18,000 postgraduate scholarships are presented at the NFF Annual Awards Dinner in New York City.
