Dear Colleagues:

Please join me in saying thank you and farewell to Dean Mary Holz-Clause. Dean Holz-Clause came to Cal Poly Pomona in July of 2014. During her time as dean she was appointed to the California State Board of Food and Agriculture. I have appreciated her hard work and dedication as dean of the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture, and wish her the best of successes in her new role as the Chancellor at the University of Minnesota Crookston.

Interim Dean Lisa Kessler

Lisa Kessler has been appointed as interim dean for the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture. Kessler has been associated dean since July 2013. Working closely with Dean Holz-Clause, she has managed the dean's office and college staff, overseen personnel issues, managed facilities and space and worked directly with enrollment, curriculum and semester conversion. I thank Lisa for her willingness to serve the College in this interim capacity.
