Career Day Welcomes Alumni Back to Campus
Poly Career Day welcomed alumni back BPI
Here at Poly we know that if you SEE it...you can BE it! The Poly team of college counselors hosted another powerful Career Day event on April 26th!  The entire school of over 1,500 students in grades 9-12 were exposed to more than 50 diverse companies and executives, with a great many of them representing careers in critical STEM fields. Poly students spent the day exploring these careers, learning about the different colleges Poly alumni attended, as well as the multiple degrees the executives held, and ultimately were exposed to the broad range of 21st century careers. Many thanks to all of our alumni who volunteered for this event.

Pay it Forward
Pay It Forward mock interviews
Pioneered by the Class of 1966, Pay It Forward is an initiative created in partnership between alumni, administration, teachers and local business of the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. The program is designed to provide Poly students with summer internship opportunities in STEM and related business fields in an effort to provide valuable life and work experiences. Pay It Forward has partnered with companies such as BGE, Whiting Turner, EN Engineering and the Baltimore City Health Department to create these learning experiences for the students. The students seen here are in a mock interview as part of the professional etiquette training provided by Urban Alliance. Pay it Forward knows that providing real opportunities and access to our city's young people empowers them to set higher goals, take risks, explore diverse career options and ultimately innovate and achieve with excellence.
