Refine or develop your interior house painting skills with Robin Renner, Yachad's Construction Director. Also, learn how to best to assist and supervise unskilled community volunteers, who will be doing interior house painting with Yachad this spring.

Volunteer Waiver of Liability Agreement

For each Handymensch project, we require volunteers to agree to our waiver of liability. Please read it below. When you register you will have the opportunity to "agree" to its terms.

In consideration of the opportunity to participate, on a voluntary basis, in Yachad’s repair program, and in light of the mission of the organization to provide assistance to low-income homeowners and residents, I hereby waive any right or cause of action arising as a result of my participation in the project from which any liability may or could accrue against Yachad, its officers or directors, collectively or individually.  Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I agree that this waiver shall include any rights or causes of action resulting from personal injury to me or damage to my property, or to property under my control, sustained in connection with my activities for the home repair project. If I am under 18 years of age, my parent or guardian waives and releases these rights on my behalf.
I further consent to the unrestricted use, including social media, by Yachad and/or any person authorized by them of any photographs, recordings, videotapes, motion pictures or similar visual or auditory recording of me created in connection with the Project.
