DO WE LIVE UP TO OUR REPUTATION?
I skipped out on Presbyterian worship this past Sunday. I went to Catholic mass instead. My husband is Catholic, and we try to worship together in both Catholic and Presbyterian churches. I can worship pretty well as a covert Presbyterian during mass. I'm able to recite most of the liturgy, know when to stand or kneel, and will make the sign of the cross because it seems like a holy thing to do. I don't take Communion, of course. That's either a dead giveaway that I'm not Catholic, or perhaps other parishioners think I just didn't make it to confession, and I'm super devout about that.

REV. BRETT SWANSON TO BE INSTALLED MARCH 4
You are cordially invited to attend the installation service for Brett Swanson, at Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church on March 4 at 4:00PM. Here's some background on Brett:  The Rev. Brett Swanson has served as the Co-Pastor of the Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church since November of 2017. Since his ordination in 2007 Brett has served churches in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Brett is originally from California and holds a Bachelors in Religion and Philosophy from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington and a Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Emory University's Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia.
Brett enjoys reading, baseball, movies, live music and sports, video games, and adventures of all sorts, expectably international travel. He is a husband and father, and together with his family, makes his home in Wauwatosa.

INAUGURATION OF DR. CINDY G. GNADINGER AT CARROLL UNIVERSITY
Carroll University will celebrate the Inauguration Ceremony of Dr. Cindy G. Gnadinger as its fifteenth  president on Friday, March 16, 2018. The community is invited to join in the celebration which will take place at Carroll University in the Shattuck Music Center Auditorium at 10 a.m. with the processional beginning at 10:30 a.m. Those that are unable to attend in person will also be able to livestream the event by visiting www.carrollu.edu .

The Presbytery of Milwaukee announces the opening of a new staff position: the Associate for Ministry Vitality. This role shares many of the same functions as our Congregational Care Coordinator position (which will be subsumed within this new position), with an increased emphasis on congregational vitality.
