Habitat for Humanity could not exist without the support of the more than 1600 volunteers who give so generously of their time.

Annually, we award the Golden Hammer to all volunteers who have contributed 100 hours or more of volunteer service. Listed are the Golden Hammer volunteers with the number of hours that they volunteered during 2016.

No matter how many hours you are able to volunteer - every volunteer makes a difference!

We now have a new online Volunteer Calendar to make volunteering with Habitat a simple and easy process. Best of all, you get to pick the day that works best for your schedule from our list of opportunities.  We currently have several opportunities available this week on our construction site and in the ReStore.

J.M. Cope Builds with Habitat
Have you ever seen a home framed in three days? That is exactly what the great folks at J.M. Cope accomplished. Thank you to Andrew Cope and Stephen Pharr for your leadership and support. We are grateful to the team of talented and dedicated associates who hammered, sawed and erected our 2017 Builders Blitz home. Thank you for your amazing support!

HopeBuilders are some of our most passionate supporters, and I want to invite you to join them today! These vital donors are our foundation of support to help families in a powerful way - by making a small monthly gift to build a better future.

As a HopeBuilder, you can provide essential, reliable support for Habitat for Humanity to help families achieve financial stability, safety for their children, and a healthy environment in which the whole family can thrive.

Shaque
, a future Habitat homeowner, is 32 years old and a mother of a 7 year old son. She works for the Rock Hill School District and has lived in Rock Hill all her life. Shaque heard about Habitat from a friend and says she didn't know anything about Habitat when she filled out the application. "Those are good people. You can go to any one of them and they'll give you any information you need. They've helped me so much."

"I would not be who I am today without them. All I knew was I wanted to be a homeowner and I went to the meetings and they were so supportive. I was so motivated and determined." Shaque says that Habitat was there to help every step of the way. Read More
