Competitors cross the finish line of the 50 yard dash at Friday's first-ever Heilicher Maccabi Games! Teams competed in sports and challenges, including potato sack races, wheelbarrow races, a relay, the shoe toss, soccer, ultimate frisbee, pillow polo, tug of war ... and of course, Ruach! What an amazing and fun day.
Dear Heilicher Parents,

What a wonderful and eventful end to a magnificent year! A huge thank you to our teachers, volunteers, parents, grandparents, and, of course, our students for all they give to the school throughout the year. I hope everyone is able to find rest, rejuvenation, family time, and anything else which you seek over the coming summer days.

This week, we celebrate the sixth graders' completion of their tallitot, the band's spring performance, and our eighth graders taking their final walk across the Heilicher stage as students at the school. And, this Sunday (June 11), come celebrate with staff and parents at our annual School's Out Soiree by the JCC pool (festivities begin at 8:00 p.m.).

We also want to acknowledge the hard work of Jenna Budda, Susie Kaufman, and Helen Siegel who will all be moving on from Heilicher at the end of this school year. Jenna has most recently served as our middle school Language Arts teacher, a role she took on after many years teaching on the fifth grade team. Susie, our Experiential Education Director, served on our leadership team, taught Language Arts along with Jenna, and served as a great guide for the school this year, tying together the student life experience across grades and disciplines. Thankfully, we have had the opportunity to fete Helen Siegel many times over for her years of service to the school. Please join me in thanking Jenna, Susie, and Helen and wishing them all the best.

We look forward to seeing you at graduation, closing ceremonies, the soiree, and many other events throughout this week.

Have a great summer and feel free to swing by or schedule a time to meet if you would like to check in over the summer.
