Message from President Nino
Many of your student government boards are tackling the challenge of creating a more inclusive environment for all students here at the Beach. Amidst all the controversy at the national level, it is important that we respect the spaces that we create for one another so that each and every student in our community can be successful.
Being inclusive is not only limited to respecting the spaces that are reserved for the many diverse communities, but we must also respect the opinions of others. We can only solve the problems we face by listening to everyone's viewpoints. By engaging in respectful dialogue, we become better educated students, leaders and community members. Do not stray from a delicate subject because you are afraid to express your opinion. Be bold, be respectful and engage with different communities so that we can work together as one.
Go Beach!
