You have until
August 1, 2017 to apply for funding for environmental capital projects from the GMF. This is one more chance to commit to

Have Your Say:
Cannabis Legislation
The federal government introduced
Bill C-45 (the Cannabis Act),
which would create a national framework for the production, distribution, sale, and possession of cannabis across Canada. If approved by parliament, the bill could become law by July 2018.
In the first round of consultations last summer,
we emphasized the need to protect the safety and health of residents, and ensure resources were provided to municipalities.
We continue to engage the federal and provincial governments on these issues in partnership with municipal organizations across Canada, including FCM and SARM.
