Southern New Hampshire - The list of award-winning projects to utilize
VMZINC®, the international brand name of rolled zinc products, is ever-growing. A recent addition is The Gemma Observatory, designed by Anmahian Winton Architects. A private astronomical observatory located on a hillside in southern New Hampshire, the project has won multiple industry awards, including the award for Overall Excellence at the 2017 Metal Construction Association's Chairman Awards.

Al Dunlop Inducted Into NCCA Hall Of Fame

Cleveland, OH - On April 25, 2017, Al Dunlop was inducted into the NCCA Hall of Fame during the NCCA's Annual Meeting in Naples, FL. As a veteran of the coil coating industry, Dunlop earned the respect of many through his positions with Valspar and Glidden. He was a strong supporter of the NCCA during his career, and he continued his advocacy on behalf of the industry and the association as the first NCCA technical director. More

AIA's ABI In Positive Territory For Third Straight Month
|
Washington, D.C. - After beginning the year with a marginal decline, the Architecture Billings Index has posted three consecutive months of growth in design revenue at architecture firms. As a leading economic indicator of construction activity, the ABI reflects the approximate nine to twelve month lead time between architecture billings and construction spending. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) reported the April ABI score was 50.9, down from a score of 54.3 in the previous month. More
