ProDealer Industry Summit
October 17-19, 2017
Phoenix, Arizona

Dr. Robert Dietz, Chief Economist for the National Association of Home Builders  to be Featured Speaker

NLBMDA is excited to announce that Dr. Robert Dietz will be a featured speaker at the 2017 ProDealer Industry Summit in Phoenix. Robert is Chief Economist for NAHB, where his responsibilities include housing market analysis, forecasting and industry surveys, and housing policy research. Prior to joining NAHB in 2005, Robert worked as an economist for the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation.

Robert's session, entitled "2017 Economic & Housing Outlook", will look ahead to the current trends facing our industry. What have been the dominant trends in home construction for 2017 and what will the rest of the year offer in terms of housing and residential construction?  Housing has posted a slow and modest recovery, but the demographic trends are quite favorable for building. Dietz will address the pace of the housing recovery to date and provide evidence of where it will go next year along with details on what is being built and why.
