 Did You Know?
The Star Tribune recently published an article by Tim Pawlenty titled, "We're at the dawn of the Fourth Industrial Revolution." Former Governor Pawlenty spoke on this interesting topic at our May Legislative Breakfast. In the article, he states, "...it's urgent for our education, business, science and government leaders to understand the coming changes and develop plans to use those changes as a force for good for the people, places and causes they serve. Those who invent, improve, commercialize, maintain and leverage new technology will disproportionately prosper. Those who don't, simply won't." Read more.

Member Spotlight: Opportunity to Learn

Carol Osnes, Chief Operations Officer at Yankee Eye Clinic and Rosemount Eye Clinic
Four years ago, I began working with my husband, Dr. Osnes, at his two optometric clinics. My first big project was the renovation of the Eagan office.  Since then, my efforts have been to help enhance the culture of our two clinics and assist in the growth of our amazing team members. Being involved with the Dakota County Regional Chamber has given me the opportunity to learn and grow professionally. I enjoy the variety of events to volunteer for such as the WomEn's Conference and the Golf Tournament along with learning and making new friendships through the WomEn's Circle. I also appreciate how the Chamber keeps me up-to-date on the important issues that affect Minnesota businesses. I am blessed to be part of such a dynamic and enriching Chamber.
