This Sunday we will learn about how Jairus' faith was evident from his first conversation with Jesus. Jairus asked Jesus to come to touch his daughter, who was seriously ill. Jairus had faith in Jesus' power and his daughter was healed!
Please ask your children about the songs we are singing, what they learned, and engage with them at home by using the weekly "Take Home Sheet". See you at 9 or 11 am!
We had a great time last Sunday learning about Jesus' power and how having faith in God is so important in our lives.
The kids enjoyed singing and dancing to "You are Good", which is the song we will be singing in the Sanctuary on Sunday, March 18 during both gatherings. Please let me know if your child will not be participating.
I will be collecting the Lent cards for our friends in Heritage Hall, police officers, firefighters and postal friends this Sunday. These are part of the Lenten Calendar your child took home. If you haven't received one, please pick one up this Sunday.
Thank you to all the volunteers that signed up to teach our kids on Sunday mornings. I truly appreciate your love and passion for God and the children.
We will be collecting bottles with change for our mission this Sunday 2/25.
Please bring your bottles so that we can bring clean water to families in Guatemala. Kathy MacKrell and the team leave Saturday, March 3rd.

"Let there be light!" This is what God said. And light began shining and started to spread. Wild and creative illustrations from top children's illustrator David Catrow pair with Matthew Paul Turner's lyrical verse in this message of a God-made light that cuts through darkness to bring vision and hope to all young readers. This light radiates, chasing away the shadows, providing the wonder and fun of stargazing or firefly chasing. Most important, this light appears in each child--an inner
God-given spark that grows and will be used to change the world.
Award-winning counselor Neil McNerney shares why it's so important to be calm when it comes to parenting our kids.
This free event is open to parents with children of any age (from newborns to college-bound and beyond!).
