Welcome Back, Long Beach State!
A Message from President Nino

Welcome back from winter break, everyone! I hope that each of you were able to spend time with loved ones and take a moment to prepare for an exciting 2018. ASI has so many things planned for you this semester, and I am proud that our student leaders have already hit the ground running! With ASI elections right around the corner, this is your chance to #MAKEYOURMARK and continue the student advocacy that generations of students before us once started.

As always, Go Beach!

WINTER RECAP

Over the winter break, your ASI leaders
participated in diversity training during the  winter student government retreat , where  they continued their efforts to ensure social justice on campus.

They also discussed and planned for efforts related to the looming tuition increase. ASI leaders will be furthering the discussion this weekend, from Jan. 26 through Jan. 28, at the California State Student Association (CSSA) Plenary Meeting. The main topic being discussed will be in regards to the governor's budget and its impact on the CSU.
