Lakeshore Technical College (LTC) invites women to explore advancement through high-tech, high-paying careers at Women Power Manufacturing on March 9 from 8:30am - 2:30pm on the LTC Cleveland Campus. Participants will get a close-up look at how they can step into high-paying advanced manufacturing careers including welding, fabrication, machine tool operation, and mechanical design. The Chamber of Manitowoc County  is hosting a seminar - Sexual Harassment in the Workplace - on Tuesday, February 27, at  Fox Hills Resort . Breakfast buffet 7:30 - 8:00am, presentation 8:00 - 9:00am.  Justin Wallace of Nash, Spindler, Grimstad & McCracken LLP with co-presenter Rick Balzan of Schenck SC will address the topic and provide examples of what needs to be done if workplace harassment is reported. The Haven of Manitowoc County  will be hosting the First Annual "Shamrocks for Shelter" on St. Patrick's Day. Manitowoc Public School District: Help Lincoln High School prepare students for careers! At Lincoln High School, we are working to prepare every student to become career and college ready. To do this, we need your help! Your feedback will help us learn what "career ready" looks like in our community. We are asking you to take a brief (5 minutes or less) survey about employment skills (i.e., attendance, communication, teamwork, etc.) in your industry. Manitowoc County Home Builders Association Home Show is adding merchandise vendors...it's called the Home Show MarketPlace! These spaces are incorporated into the exhibit hall and are a bit smaller than the exhibitor booths. A merchandise vendor is defined as one that is selling retail items that can be purchased onsite. The MarketPlace will be open Friday, April 6, from 4:00 - 8:00pm, and Saturday, April 7, from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Space is very limited and assigned on a first come/first served basis. Felician Village: Early detection of dementia matters. The Dementia Center of Excellence at Felician Village offers free, confidential memory screens. These screens consist of a series of questions and tasks to help indicate whether a person might benefit from a complete exam with more testing. Atrium Post Acute Care of Two Rivers  opens its first art exhibition - Deliverance - with a Gallery Night Reception on Thursday, February 22, from 4:30 - 6:30pm. The exhibition features spiritually-inspired prints by Sheboygan artist Laura Shank. Shank describes her work as "contemplative and promoting the realization of faith, hope and love." Gallery Night attendees will meet the artist and view her work. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided. Deliverance will remain on display through March 23. Manitowoc County Kennel Club (MCKC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1921 and is a member club of the American Kennel Club (AKC) dedicated to promoting the sport and breeding of purebred dogs.  MCKC is the only club in the United States which offers all three facets of the AKC dog world; i.e., Obedience, Conformation, and Field.
