A Message from the Rabbi Search Committee

 

Rabbi Aaron Schonbrun will be visiting us this coming weekend, along with his wife Jane-Rachel. The following events will be open to everyone and we encourage you to attend:

 

Friday evening Minhah, Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma'ariv at 5:40 pm: Rabbi Schonbrun will be giving a D'var Torah.

 

Saturday morning at 9:00 am: Shabbat services, visit to youth services and Kiddush followed by Community Question and Answer Session with Rabbi Schonbrun in the Milstein Sanctuary beginning about one hour after the start of Kiddush. Supervised activities for children will take place downstairs beginning at 12:45 pm until 2:45 pm so that parents can attend.

 

Saturday afternoon at 5:00 pm: Minhah followed by Seudah Shelishit and Ma'ariv. Rabbi Schonbrun will be leading Minhah, reading Torah, and teaching at the Seudah Shelishit.

 

Sunday morning minyan at 9:00 am: Rabbi Schonbrun will lead services.

 

On February 14th, Rabbi Schonbrun visited with our Nursery School, Shorashim and Havurat Torah students, as well as with the TIC staff. This coming weekend he will be meeting with various synagogue committees.

Your input in the Rabbi Search process is critical. We will be reaching out to you to complete a survey and will be holding a Town Hall meeting to hear your thoughts. More details will follow.
