Children's Ministry- Opportunity to Serve

In Children's Ministry, we serve 50-75 kids each Sunday.  It takes a village to raise this many kids, and therefore we need more volunteers.  If you are able to serve for 1-2 hours each month, please sign up at the Connection Center to help in Nursery or Elementary Sunday School.  If you have any questions please contact Jennifer McDaniel.

Ushers Wanted!

AUMC is in need of additional ushers for the 11:00 service.  We currently have four teams which rotate ushering monthly so your commitment would only be for three months each year.  For more information or to sign-up for a team, please email Scott Sadler.

Sunshine Boxes

Sunshine boxes contain yellow items and are given to those coping with loss, grief or illness.  If you know of someone needing a little lift, these boxes are now available to distribute.  If you would like a box to give someone please contact Jennifer McDaniel.

CED Preschool Fall Registration

Registration is open for our AUMC preschool.  Two, three and four day classes are available for ages 2-5. For more information visit aledo umc preschool or email Jayne Dawson

On the Go Devo

Sometimes life keeps you away from church on Sunday, but that doesn't mean you have to miss out.  Our weekly ON THE GO DEVO keeps you talking about what your church family is talking about, even if you can't be here.  You can subscribe to have the DEVO delivered to your mobile device each week by texting ONTHEGO to 68398.

Are you taking advantage of electronic giving?
When we join the church, we pledge to support the life and ministry of the church with our financial gifts. That can get complicated on those weeks when we can't be here as the offering plate comes around. But through electronic giving, you remain faithful to your membership vows, even on those weeks when life takes you elsewhere. It's easy. It's safe. And it benefits both you and your church family. Setting it up is easy and only takes a few minutes. Contact Shari Birchell at sharibirchell@aledoumc.org to set up an automatic transfer from your checking account. Or go to aledoumc.org/give to use your credit or debit card.
