Barefoot Becky Wraps Up Texas Tour!
 
Barefoot Becky & the Ivanhoe Dutchmen wrap up their tour of our great state with two great dances - Saturday night at Lodge 88 in Houston with the Dujka Brothers, and Sunday afternoon at KJT Hall in Ennis with Czech & Then Some. Snow doubt about it - we're glad they're here from Iowa!

Other great happenings this weekend - 10th Annual Classic Country, Western Swing, & Honky Tonk Music Festival @ Canton Civic Center...Red Ravens at Flag Hall in Cyclone on Saturday night...Sausage Supper at Star Hall in Seaton on Saturday with Jerry Haisler providing some accordion tunes, then head over to Sefcik Hall for a Saturday night dance with Charles & The Fab 4...Glen Collins & The Alibis are at Lodge 18 in Elgin on Sunday...Czechaholics are in charge of Polka Sunday at VFW Hall in Geronimo - kitchen opens at 1, serving a sausage meal as the perfect complement to polka!...Also on Sunday, Country Jim & The Allstars at VFW Hall in North Houston, Jerry Haisler & The Melody 5 at Sefcik Hall, and Nathan Colt Young at Sweet Home Music City.

Subscription Drive Underway!


TPN Now Available in Digital Format
 
We are excited to announce that your favorite Texas music publication is now available in digital format. If I have your email address, you received a note announcing the February issue was ready for your review. Some were concerned that there would no longer be a print edition. Rest assured, TPN will still be printed and mailed to subscribers. You get an extra bonus of getting the paper on your computer as well. And some folks may just want to subscribe to the digital version. It's all part of the paper's 30th anniversary and taking the next step in reaching more readers. Along with TPN digital comes a new website - TexasPolkaNews.com. 

Rybaks Help Subscription Drive!

Thanks to Chris & Edita Rybak, TPN now has 13 new subscribers! The Rybaks purchased a subscription for everyone on their Christmas Market tour who already didn't have a subscription. Now we have more readers who can Polka On!
