June 27th: Terrarium Building with Artsy in the Speakeasy 6:30pm-8:30pm, Our terrarium artist, Anabell, will explain assembly, creating depth, use of space, care and the benefits of keeping plants in your home. Additionally, Artsy's Terrarium Workshops feature (locally) hand blown glass mushrooms & containers, Appalachian Mountain moss, quartz crystal points and other precious stones to help create your living work of art!

Our Mixologists will lead you through the narrative details of the classic cocktails during the 20's Prohibition Era while experimenting with Early American cocktails like the Sazerac, Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Dark & Stormy. Learn two Prohibition cocktails and get recipe cards compliments of the Speakeasy at Quintana's.

"In 1919, the 18th Amendment was passed, clearing the way for 13 years of the folly that was Prohibition. The Noble Experiment lasted from 1920 to 1933. During this time, it was illegal to sell alcohol, so people completely stopped drinking. Yeah, right. They actually drank more than ever, even though the cocktails weren't exactly top notch.
Barkeeps had limited access to good booze, so they used sweeteners and juices to cover up the taste of the rough hooch. A few cocktails from the era survived, having been lovingly restored in the best mixology joints around the country". - Chantal Martineau
