Natural Resource Biologist, RAS Department of Natural Resources, regarding the schedule for hydrilla treatment:
The first Hydrilla treatment of the 2017 growing season is scheduled for this coming Wednesday June 7th. If the weather allows, DNR will plan to start at the Yacht Club around 8am and hopes to be finished around 2pm. The forecast for next week is calling for a good bit of rain throughout the week. The applicator can't operate if it's raining too hard so DNR will be watching the weather closely and still may have to move the date and/or time. Please be aware that the schedule is weather contingent.
