They Are Leaving Today...
Please wish the Wind Ensemble luck as they leave today for the WMEA Conference in Yakima.  As the first SPS High School band to be invited to perform during the prestigious Concert Hour, these musicians have put in many long hours to ensure they represent Ballard High School well.

Volunteers Needed for the NW Region Band Festival
The NW Region Band Festival is on February 28 at 7:00 p.m.  An annual tradition showcasing local schools along with Wind Ensemble and Percussion, volunteers are needed to help with the bake sale.  Please click here to sign up today!

Chaperones Needed for EBMEA Festival
The EBMEA Festival will be held at Chief Sealth High School on March 13 during the school day.  At the festival, each band will perform for a distinguished panel of clinicians and receive valuable feedback, as well as listen to other schools in our District.  We still need 7 chaperones to join us for this fun, all-day event. Please contact Jen Witeck to volunteer.

Did You Know ASB Cards Are Required for All Band Members?
It's true!  The $35 ASB card is required by the District to help pay for our bus transportation to various events, admission to sporting events, and more.  There are quite a few students that still need to buy an ASB either in the Activities Office, or online through SchoolPay, which is accessed through the Source.  The list of these students is on the door to the instrument room.

Please contact Jen Witeck for more information and to volunteer.
