June 29- Alpenglow (Free Outdoor Concerts) Crested Butte Center for the Arts-- Alpenglow is the Center for the Arts free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer. With Crested Butte Mountain and Paradise Divide as the backdrop, come enjoy the sounds of a variety of music. Bring along your chairs, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Join friends and family as we enjoy the best that summer in Crested Butte has to offer. So fun! Starting on June 29 - every Monday thru the summer!
July 7 -Free Twilight Archery Series Crested Butte Mountain Resort and West Elk Archers will host the 4th annual summer archery competition giving archers the chance to access the beautiful Gunnison National Forest via the Red Lady Express Chairlift. Participants will take the lift up to the start of the course at 10,300' with amazing views of the Elk Mountain Range to the north. A sight-in range will be set near the top of the lift for archers to warm up before starting the course. From there, archers will follow the course through open country and dark timber along 40 targets for a one-day competition.
