Thank you for sharing the gift of LIFE! On June 5th we completed another successful blood drive.  Thanks to all who gave blood and for all the volunteers who brought food, provided hospitality, and helped with set-up and clean-up.  We cannot provide these opportunities without lots of helpers and we are grateful for your part in it. "YEAR FOUR, LET'S DO MORE"!
YEAR FOUR, LET'S DO MORE"! This project has been an overwhelming success for the past three Summers.  We are calling this Summer's project, "Year Four, Let's Do More"!  Our Congregation will be providing bags of food for 10 weeks instead of 9 for students from Blythe Elementary School.  That's 250 bags!  We will also be adding fresh, seasonal produce to each bag each week.  This need is tremendous, and the solution is simple.  Read the simple steps below to see how you can help DCPC meet this greater challenge this Summer.
Follow these simple steps:
1.  Choose one or more of the following Fridays that you can provide a bag of food: June 16, 23, 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28, August 4, 11, 18
2.  Email
Catherine Brag
g
or  Rosemary Klein  to sign up for  your specific dates.  A reminder will be sent the Monday of the week that you are providing a bag.
3.  Use the following list to fill your bag. Remember to use a brown paper bag.
Helpful tips:
·  Store brands are fine
·  ½ gallon of milk and cheese sticks will be  added before delivery
·  Small variations from this list are acceptable
·  Fresh Seasonal produce
4.  Pack all food in brown paper grocery bag
5.  Bring your full bag to the Student Center  by 9:30 A.M. on your particular Friday.
If you'd prefer for someone to shop for you, write a check to DCPC and write "Blythe Food" in the memo line.
