Habitat UNITY Youth Build, June 10
Youth and young people 14 years and older are invited to participate in the UNITY Youth Build Day on  June 10  for a half day or full day to help complete the interfaith build for the Diaz family. Youth are asked to fund raise $100, but the UU Habitat Task Force will likely be able to sponsor your participation. Youth from other faith communities are volunteering that day, along with several UU adults. If interested, contact Barb Berggoetz right away at  [email protected] .
Thank you Carol Marks for 25 Years of Service!
This  Sunday, June 11, we will celebrate Carol Marks' 25 years as our church administrator by enjoying Chocolate Moose ice cream between worship services in the Fellowship Hall. Choir members will provide ice cream toppings that in some way represent a characteristic of Carol.  We invite you to bring a greeting card of celebration for Carol (optional gift card or 'quarter' inside) to celebrate her quarter of a century with our UUCB congregation. Cards will be collected in a basket in Fellowship Hall.

Embodied Dialogues on Racism June 13 and June 15
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This two-day workshop is an embodied approach to examining the racism in our lives. We begin with our bodies as it is the container of our everything: ideas, joy, pain, history, identity, and soul. You will be asked to  think about your racial identity and how it shapes your daily experiences, as well as the experiences of those around you. While use of the body will be a part of the journey, participants will be offered several modes of communication including dialoguing with others and writing or creating visuals. The workshop is about examinations of race that impact our lives, and community, using the body as a tool of exploration. All bodies welcome, no previous experience required. RSVP to [email protected] or 812-332-3695 ext. 204.

Marsh Stores Likely to Close -- Come Buy Some Marsh Cards!
We were as surprised as you were to learn that the two remaining Marsh stores in Bloomington may be closing soon. We have a pretty good stock of Marsh grocery cards that we would like to sell before the middle of June. There are certain to be some good deals at Marsh in the near future, so buy some Marsh cards from us and stock up! Grocery cards are available for sale in the Commons every Sunday morning, 10:15-11:00 a.m. Our grocery card program contributed $7,000 to our operating budget this year.  Thank you for participating!
