What does our Leadership Staff training look like?
On the right is an image of a creative trust exercise that teaches our leadership staff how to rely on each other to reach their goals.
Leadership staff will begin welcoming counselors this weekend and the camping season officially begins
June 4!

Danielle's Disneyland

Danielle has been attending the Adult Retreat at Camp Courage for the past 21 years because, as she describes it, it's her personal Disneyland.
After having a poor experience at a different camp when she was younger, Danielle was a little skeptical to try summer camp again. She decided to give it another try and, according to her, it was one of the best decisions she has ever made.
Danielle is able to do things at camp that she would not be able to do easily at home because she doesn't have enough people or the right resources.
"I look forward to this session so very much that I can't put into words without writing volumes and volumes of books," Danielle said with a smile.

Local Champion Makes Camp Possible through Scholarships

Thanks so much to the Eden Prairie Community Foundation for the generous grant to fund scholarships at
True Friends.
Foundation members presented the grant to Gary Wagner during the annual EP Gives celebration.
As a champion for Eden Prairie, the Community Foundation has been a significant supporter and advocate for True Friends and Camp Eden Wood for many years.

- June 24, 2017 6 - 9 p.m.
Join us at the Cobb Creek Vineyard in Wells, MN for an evening of wine and beer tasting with entertainment, door prizes and a silent auction.

Tee it Up for Campers

Put your game face on and come out and join us at our annual golf event at Oakview Golf Course in Freeborn, MN. A 4-person, best-shot golf tournament will begin at 11 a.m.. A $55 entry fee will include golf registration, lunch and a beverage.
