TWELVE ANGRY MEN
A 19-year-old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father. "He doesn't stand a chance," mutters the guard as the 12 jurors are taken into the bleak jury room. It looks like an open-and-shut case-until one of the jurors begins opening the others' eyes to the facts. "This is a remarkable thing about democracy," says the foreign-born juror, "that we are notified by mail to come down to this place-and decide on the guilt or innocence of a man; of a man we have not known before. We have nothing to gain or lose by our verdict. We should not make it a personal thing." But personal it does become, with each juror revealing his or her own character as the various testimonies are re-examined, the murder is re-enacted and a new murder threat is born before their eyes! Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the jurors become 12 angry men. The jurors' final verdict and how they reach it-in tense scenes that will electrify you and keep you on the edge of your seat.

Susan Janette Noe

After a long and uncomplaining battle with breast cancer, Susan Janette Noe, 60, died on Sunday, February 5, 2017, surrounded by her family and a huge swell of love.

Susan directed a number of memorable musicals at FCT, including The King and I, White Christmas, Far From Home, that she co-authored with Ken Wayne, and Mary Poppins. She had vision, and she was able to consistently translate that vision into spectacle and color and a human message that truly touched us.

Her directing accomplishments notwithstanding, Susan's first love was costuming. She has been FCT's costuming mistress extraordinaire for many years, bringing characters and historical periods to vivid life for so many FCT productions. And in her 'spare time' she kept the Camelot costume and prop facility organized, and was the recognized costuming go to person for many other area theatres, as well.

Susan got involved in theatre when she brought her son Kirk to FCT in 2002 to audition for Music Man. Martha Lynch cast Kirk as a member of the Boys Band, and she and Susan embarked on a long, creative, and very productive friendship.

Susan was born at the Fort Campbell Kentucky Army Base to Windle and Ruby Kirk. As an Army brat Susan was a world traveler, with her father serving in both the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Susan married Chris Noe in 1984, in Chicago, and they have two children, Stuart and Kirk. She was very involved in the Church and her community, and her family life has been shaped by every large and small thing that nurtured her husband and her boys. She worked most recently at the Flory Small Business Center where she advised and educated local business owners on a wide range of topics.

Besides sewing and theatre, she was an avid reader. Susan loved singing, Christmas, nutcrackers, Disney World, Captain America, and show tunes.

In memory of Susan, and in solidarity with her all too common battle, donations for cancer research would be appreciated through Susan G. Komen, or the American Cancer Society. Tribute cards can be addressed to: chris16noe@gmail.com .
