Verna Gooding was the beloved wife of The Rev. Ludwick (Jack) Gooding who retired from St. Phillip's Church in South Philadelphia (now closed). She and Rev. Gooding moved to Barbados when he retired.
The Requiem mass was held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at their home church, St. Leonard's, Westbury Road, St. Michael, Barbados.
She is survived by her husband, six daughters - Magdalene, Beverly, Sonja, Sophia, Lynette, and Deborah - fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Rest eternal grant to her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her.
