Jr. & Sr. High Exam Schedule
An email was sent out to all parents of Grades 7 - 12 students earlier this week. If you missed it, please read it

This is friendly reminder that students in Grades 7 - 12 will need to return ALL textbooks prior to receiving their year-end report cards.
Textbooks can be returned to the textbook room just before or right after each exam is completed. Please ensure that the students return the texts signed out to them and not to other students. If parents have any questions they can call or email Mrs. Hutchinson.

Dr. Leonard Sax Is Coming To Clear Water Academy Thursday, October 26!
Dr. Leonard Sax,
renowned physician, psychologist, and author, will be visiting Clear Water Academy in October and will present to our community on Thursday, October 26 (evening format).
Dr. Sax's presentation will focus on the theme: "Beyond Resilience," parenting un-fragile children. If you would like to purchase any of his books, please visit the main reception in Bessborough Hall.

Great Results For CWA Students That Wrote DELF Exam!
Last year, CWA sent its first 3 students to write the
DELF exam and they were successful with levels A1-B1. This year, 12 students stepped up to the challenge in May and they just received their results. They all passed with high averages!
These are excellent results considering that we are not a French Immersion school and had students from Grades 7-11 who participated! We look forward to the DELF exams for Junior/Senior High next spring, as well as the possibility of opening the DELE (Spanish equivalent) possibilities in November. "
What is
DELF? "Diplôme d'études en langue française" exam comes from the Government of France and is internationally recognized for entrance into universities and certain job positions. The evaluation tests 5 facets of the language: listening, spoken interaction, writing, reading, and spoken production. There are 6 levels: A1,A2,B1,B2,C1,C2 (levels C1-C2 being university level French).
Congratulations to all CWA students who received their life-long diploma in levels A1-A2!
