Compliance Bundle Now Active

EMS ISD has developed a series of annual updates that meet district, state, or federal guidelines for ALL employees. Compliance trainings are bundled together in an online format through Eduphoria and have been released to all employees. This model allows the flexibility for employees to complete required training at their convenience while maintaining the integrity of the expectations.

The completion date is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 15, 2017.

Please print your certificate of completion to give to your supervisor for their records.

Professional Compliance Bundle: Teachers, counselors, principals, directors, superintendents, coordinators, diagnosticians, and all other instructional staff must complete the Professional Compliance Bundle.

Basic Compliance Bundle: Para-professional staff will complete the Basic Compliance Bundle.

Class of 2017 Takes the Stage

The EMS ISD graduating Class of 2017 took center stage to commemorate their achievements and transition from high school seniors to high school graduates on Sunday, June 4. Watson High School's ceremony was Friday, June 2. Congratulations to the Class of 2017!

Certified AHA Heartsavers

Staff and administrators completed the American Heart Association's Heartsaver training on June 7 that covered First Aid, CPR, and AED procedures. At the end of the training, they received a certification card that they had successfully completed the objectives and skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the program.

Designated as a Registered Texas School Business Administrator

Janice Green successfully completed the requirements to earn the designat i on of Registered Texas School Business Administrator (RTSBA) by the Texas A ssociation of School Business Officials (TASBO).

TASBO certification is earned through a combination of specified coursework, school business experience, and training in the area of specialization. Once certification is awarded, individuals are required to complete 60 hours of continuing education every three years in order to maintain their certification.
