Midwest Sheet Music presents
our second annual
Wind Band Reading Session
We had so much fun doing this last year (especially the after-session drinking roundup) that we've decided to do it again.

Midwest Sheet Music will host its Wind Band new music reading session at MICDS this summer. This session will focus on music for Middle School to High School, covering grades 1-4. We'll read about 25-30 new titles and give you a chance to meet and converse with your fellow teachers, as well as review some quality literature for your ensembles. Then those that want to can join us for drinks and food at Lester's Sports Bar (see address below).

If your budgets have started, we will have copies of all the reading materials on hand for you to purchase on the spot, as well as some new resources and some other new band titles you can look at and listen to.

There is no charge to attend this session. Just send me an email and indicate your preference of instrument (or no instrument) so we can make sure we get a proper balance. We also encourage you to bring along any interested students who want a chance to practice their sight reading and give their lips (or drumsticks) a warm-up after the summer break.
