Morning Circle
10:30 am, Tuesday, June 13
4618 McGregor Drive 78411

Everyone is invited to join the Morning Circle for the last lesson of Who is Jesus Through Different Lenses and a salad lunch. This time we will look at Contemporary Interpretation.  Marilyn Larsen will lead the discussion.

We will stay to visit and share a salad lunch at the home of Lessie Hoffman.
If you want to, bring a small salad to share.  If not, that's OK too.

Contributions to El Divino
On Sunday, June 11th the boxes will be in the narthex in which to deposit clothing, including jeans, shoes, and children's clothes.  Thank you for your donations to El Divino Salvador's Clothes Closet, from which their congregation shares these contributions with those in need.
Shoes for Guatemala Fundraiser

Some of our Parkway family will be traveling to the children's home in Guatemala again this summer.  Their suitcases will be packed with the socks and underwear we donated.  They would also like to buy the children shoes from Guatemalan vendors once they get there.  Two ways to give: You can help by putting money in the adorable "shoe" box Wendi (Schleider) Flaherty created for this purpose or you can write a check to Parkway and put "Shoes for Guatemala" on the memo line.

Please help our friends in Guatemala have new shoes!

Loaves and Fishes (Metro Ministries)
Loaves & Fishes is a free cafeteria that serves nutritious dine-in meals for the homeless, poor, working poor, disabled, and elderly. This program provides lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Parkway has committed to serving in the soup kitchen every Friday, from 4:45 to 6 pm. A food handler's permit is required and quite easy to obtain. If you would like to participate in this ministry, contact Irene Jones at 993-9106.
