Did You Know?
On May 31, 2017, the NIH issued a reminder concerning the requirement to include an authentication plan for key biological and/or chemical resources in grant applications proposing their use. This applies to mentored career development awardees as well as research applicants. The notice (NOT-OD-17-068) provides guidance on what to include in an authentication plan. CCTS offers numerous examples of authentication plans in its Grant Library.  More

CCTS Launching New Round of Kaizen R2T Game
Have fun while mastering required NIH policies for rigor, reproducibility, and transparency (R2T) in our online Kaizen game! The third round of this highly popular approach to learning competencies will run June 19-July 27. Originally designed by CCTS Informatics for federally funded trainees, Kaizen R2T is open to players at any professional level across the CCTS Partner Network. More
Congratulations to our six CCTS Partner Network Multidisciplinary Pilot Program awardees for 2017. Projects, selected on the basis of scientific merit and CCTS mission relevance, will address important questions in pediatric cystic fibrosis, stroke, and several cancers. Stay tuned for the launch of our 2018 pilot program this August.  More
