FYI:  About Parking in Hyannis
The Town of Barnstable enforces lawful public parking all year ‘round, 24 hours per day.

  • During all hours, it is necessary to observe posted time limits at un-metered spaces on streets and in non-metered parking lots or to pay for parking at lots with pay-to park machines.

  • If parking regulations are ignored you will be ticketed. Both the metered and non-metered, time-limited spaces are monitored by enforcement personnel.

  • If you park in metered or an un-metered location for longer than the specified time limit, you must move your vehicle. If your vehicle has been parked in a particular space for longer than the posted time limit, your vehicle is likely to be ticketed.
