Class of 2017
The Resurrection Class of 2017 celebrated their Graduation Mass and Commencement
on
Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Holy Name Cathedral.
Special congratulations to Valedictorian Clare Hobson & Salutatorian Meredith Nowotarski (pictured above) and to all of the Class of 2017 Class Officers, award recipients and graduation speakers.

2017-18 School Year Info
As we wind up the 2016-17 school year, planning is underway for the 2017-18 school year!
In the fall, we will welcome over 125 incoming freshmen to the Class of 2021 and and we
are in the process of developing new programs and strengthening existing programs. Watch for news about improvements to the Mother Celine Scholars Program, the design process for an integrated STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Arts, Math) program and additional college counselling resources.

ResPunzel Success
The Resurrection Science Club hosted the 10th annual ResPunzel hair donation project and 75 participants, including students, staff and friends of Resurrection, donated a minimum of 8 inches of hair which will be used by the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Program.
The program works closely with the American Cancer Society to produce and distribute real-hair wigs, at no cost, for female cancer patients. The hair donations from Resurrection will make wigs for women who are faced with
hair loss from cancer treatment.
The ResPunzel Project began at Resurrection College Prep High School in 2007 as a project of the Science Club and in 2009 as a school-wide project. Special thanks to volunteer stylists from Ivana DiPiero Hair Studio in Harwood Heights and Salon M in Niles.

Bon Voyage! Summer 2017
Students to travel to Spain, France, Italy -

Resurrection students from the Class of 2018 and 2019 will be offering an traveling to Spain, France, and Italy from June 26 to July 5, 2017. The trip is coordinated with ACIS Educational Travel and will be led by Resurrection Social Studies teacher Ms. Maria Fumic and Ms. Amanda Stieber. Safe travels to all the participants!
