Auto Financing Is Easy with PCCU!
PCCU Auto Loan
Pre-Approvals Avoid Financing Headaches

Considering buying a new car, truck, or motorcycle? It's exciting thinking about driving off the lot in your brand new ride! Wouldn't it be nice to skip one of the least fun parts of the process, dealing with the financing in the dealership? It's hard to tell if you're getting a good deal, whether you're getting the best rate you qualify for, what kind of options you have for GAP, Life and Disability Insurance; not to mention not knowing who you're going to have to make payments to and work with for the next five or six years. So now PCCU is offering an extra incentive to skip the dealership's finance department.

You can apply for an auto loan pre-approval on a new vehicle, whether online or in person, then meet with one of our loan officers. They'll go over the loan options and rates you qualify for, and help you decide how much you can afford while staying within your budget. Plus they'll help you determine the value of
any vehicle you're trading in using the National Auto Dealers Association (or NADA) guide so you can avoid lowball offers.

Our Loan Officers will also analyze your credit report and offer advice on tuning up your credit score. They'll even do a comparison to see if you could save money by refinancing your other loans to PCCU.

We'll sweeten the deal by depositing $50* in your PCCU account. You'll be ready to find the perfect car, truck, or motorcycle without having to worry about whether you can make the payments, if you can get the best rate, and get a
good deal on GAP insurance.

Ready to make your appointment? Call or email us today at 800-582-7228 or loans@pccu.com. We'll answer your questions and get you started today. You can check it out on our website.

*Must have an Experian Credit Score of 640 and qualify for a new auto loan to receive the $50 incentive.
Congratulations Brittany!
Brittany Graduates

Congratulations to PCCU's own Brittany Brumfield, Senior MSR at New Castle. Ms. Brumfield recently graduated from Indiana University East earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Managerial Accounting. During her time at IU East Brittany volunteered as a peer mentor, which involved working as a teacher's aide, to help new students adjust to college life and coursework.

Brittany was able to finish her degree while working full-time at PCCU for the last several years. She even earned a promotion to Senior MSR during that time. PCCU is very proud of her, so the next time you're in our New Castle branch congratulate Brittany on this impressive achievement!
Refer A New Member to PCCU

We take pride in giving working men and women a place where they will be treated with courtesy and respect,  and in being an institution that's always willing to offer a hand up with financial education, counseling, and the right  financial products at fair prices.

If you feel that PCCU has been a help to you, please consider referring us to a friend, family member, or co-worker. There is no higher compliment you can give.
So in the co-operative spirit, rather than spend money on radio or billboards, we'd like to give that money to our members. So for every new member that you refer to us, we'll pay you $25!

Meet Tyler Webb:

PCCU's Annual Meeting  Wrap-Up

PCCU held it's Annual Meeting of the Membership on Thursday, May 4th at Reid Hospital. Nearly one hundred members and their families and friends turned out to enjoy food, fellowship, the democratic process, and the excitement of winning door prizes.

Reid's expert catering staff provided the food and a delicious beginning to the evening. The WonderLab, Bloomington's Museum of Science, Health & Technology welcomed members into the auditorium with a great show. Staci Radford-Vincent wowed the crowd with science demonstrations that brought stories from children's literature alive! From folk tales like Jack & the Beanstalk to 1,001 Arabian Nights, as well as modern tales like Harry Potter and Star Wars, Staci showed us that science can be every bit as fun as a good story.

Members were welcomed by the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Clint Hardin. He highlighted PCCU's achievements in 2016, including the successful conversion of our core banking software; as well as the challenges we faced, especially fraud. With help of Board Treasurer Mary Russell, we reviewed PCCU's financial standing.  We then elected a new member to the Board, Tim Seffrin; as well as a new member to the Supervisory Committee, Frank Brooks.

We recognized Josie Seybold for her service not only as a retiring member of the Board, but also as it's former Chairperson. Additionally, we paid tribute to several PCCU employees' service milestones. We recognized Chelsea Gabbard (Loan Officer, New Castle), and Linda Vance (Senior MSR, Hagerstown) for their five years of service to the co-operative and it's members. We also recognized Debby Bowman (Accounting Admin., Hagerstown) and Janet Sweet (VP of Human Resources, Hagerstown) for their twenty years of dedicated service to PCCU's staff and members.

Finally, we ended the evening by giving away over $1,000 of door prizes to the members in attendance. Every child that attended left with a prize, as did many of the adults. Prizes for the kids included movies, toys, games, and sports equipment. Prizes for the adults included tablets, a screen tent for outdoor dining, and dining gift cards. Be sure to pencil in our
tentative date for next year, Thursday, May 3rd, 2018, to make your voice heard and a chance to win some great door prizes!
Stepping Up EMV Debit Card Security

To increase the security of your new PCCU EMV Debit Cards we will no longer offer direct PIN changes after Friday, June 30th. After that date you will still be able to change your PIN at most ATMs, including PCCU's own machines. If you're unsure of your PIN you may request a new one either in person, or by logging in to Online or Mobile Banking and send us a secure message requesting one. We'll then have a new computer generated PIN mailed directly to you. This insures that no human being will have access to your PIN until it arrives in your mailbox.

Questions about the new EMV Debit Cards? Check out our site.
Skip-A-Pay for
Summer Vacation

With Summer just around the corner many people are thinking about vacation. If you have an auto or personal loan with PCCU and you'd like to stretch your budget, you may want to consider skipping a payment.

If you qualify for the Skip-A-Pay program, you can sign a form and pay the $25 fee at your closest PCCU branch. Then you skip one month's payment on your loan. Your loan must be up to date, you may not use the program more than six times per loan (no more than 2 skipped payments are allowed in any 12 month period), and the interest rate on the loan may not exceed 18%.

If you have questions about whether you qualify, call or email your loan officer today.
