Our deep thanks to President Barack Obama, Senator Harry Reid, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Barbara Boxer, Governor Jerry Brown and all the leaders at yesterday's Lake Tahoe Summit. Together, they brought the national spotlight back to Lake Tahoe, including its current threats and what it will take to Keep Tahoe Blue for future generations. 

The League to Save Lake Tahoe has been protecting Lake Tahoe since 1957, and we stand as committed as ever to advocating, educating and collaborating to Keep Tahoe Blue.

Healthy forests equal a healthy lake. Volunteers of all skill levels are invited to this fun, hands-on restoration day. By pitching in, you can make a direct impact in restoring the watershed habitats that surround Lake Tahoe. Be part of the solution at Tahoe Forest Stewardship Day.

League launches Keep Tahoe Blue Business Program
 


The League to Save Lake Tahoe is proud to partner with nine Tahoe-based businesses to launch the Keep Tahoe Blue Business Program. Members share a common interest in protecting and restoring the environmental health, sustainability and scenic beauty of Lake Tahoe.

On August 23, community members participated in a citizen science survey of the Upper Truckee River with the League and the California Tahoe Conservancy.

Labor Day Beach Cleanup
September 5 | 4 - 7 pm
Nevada Beach, South Tahoe
The beaches can get thrashed with trash after the popular holiday weekend festivities. Help us keep our beaches clean. We provide cleanup materials, refreshments and a prize. Ride your bike to receive a special gift. Bring your reusable water bottle and friends.

This annual beach cleanup is in conjunction with California Coastal Cleanup day. Join hundreds of volunteers this day in cleaning up the Lake Tahoe region.
