| 2016 YAF Leadership Program Graduates |
Deadline: Thursday, June 22
Applications are now available for the 2017-18
YAF Leadership Program! Open to members licensed 10 years or less who may be nominated by their peers, the program will harness the energy and innovation of recently licensed architects and cultivate valuable leadership skills. Selected participants will attend nine sessions (typically Thursdays, starting in August) focusing on professional development, civic and community engagement, and other topics.

We invite nominations for this year's Service Awards, also to be announced at the Design Awards Gala in October. The awards include:
- Citizen Architect Service to the Community
- S. Scott Ferebee Service to the Section Award
- Laurel Award
- Emerging Professional of the Year Award
- Firm of the Year Award

Small Firm Roundtable May 25 and Adjusted Summer Schedule

Next week's Small Firm Roundtable is sponsored by Adams Products. Christine A. Subasic, P.E., LEED AP, will present Understanding Masonry: Load Bearing Masonry in the 21st Century. Lunch will be available at 11:30, and the program starts at noon. Sign in at the event to earn 1LU/HSW. Members attend free; non-members pay $25.

Call for Volunteers: Golf Committee
|
The 2017 Joe Mallamo Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, and the Golf Committee seeks volunteers to help with planning. Committee members will help solicit sponsors and raffle prizes and participate in registration the morning of the event.
